Governance Structure and Management Systems
EMIT was founded in 2005 by Richard Chalks Corriette, following redundancy after 21 years in a major Logistics multinational.  EMIT is based in Belgium and has sole trader status. Richard Corriette (Belgium) is the Founder, Carlo Barbacini (Switzerland) is a non-executive director and Michiko Lloyd (Belgium) acts as Company Secretary. The organisation does present accounts in Belgium.  EMIT is a small company with an extended network of business partners with whom we have a long standing partnership from previous business activities. Many of our business partners are consulted about our business activities and we share our strategy, thoughts, values, ideas and problems with them - they are a great source of knowledge and inspiration. As our policies develop we shall host them in an appropriate place on this site.

Our organisation is dedicated to playing a leading role in creating a brilliant world that we can all be proud of. In the turbulent years ahead the unique and distinct qualities of people must be harnessed so that the brilliance the world is calling for will materialise. Our strategy is to co-create solutions that people and organisations can use to be sustainable and less reliant on continual external support. The world and its people face many obstacles in its search for peace, equality, efficiency and environmental performance. Coaching is one possible solution since we know that people are caring, intelligent, need to belong and be given the opportunity to prove their brilliance.  The Founder is responsible for the Economic, Social and Environmental performance of the organisation.  EMIT does use some of its profits to support the activities of a number of approved Social Entrepreneurs.

Organizational Profile
Extraordinary Moments In Time has sole trader status and is registered for vat in Belgium. Our registered office is; Chemin au Bois 40, Wezembeek 1970, Belgium.  Our working language is British English and members of our team, or extended team speak French, Italian and Japanese. We have no other operating locations. 100% of our shares are owned by the Founder.
